Danny Amato – otherwise known as “Chico” to the local South Island community — is an artist through and through. Not only is he someone who implements art (in various forms) into his daily practice, he also gives his art generously to others. Gifts from the heart that are inspired by the bountiful and magical South Island coastline. An avid surfer 🏄🏽‍♂️ he is always up to play in the ocean as well as in the forest.

Residing in Jordan River, Chico creates watercolor paintings on paper, and oil paintings on wood planks.

The vernissage event runs from 5-7 PM, so join in on the fun and get the chance to meet the artist! 🍻
